Full Time – Warehouse Operative
Starting from £23,000 per annum depending on experience.
Monday – Friday | 37.5 per week | Start/End TBA between 06:00 & 16:00.
We are seeking 2 Warehouse Operatives to work in our busy Warehouse to assist with picking full and mixed pallets, checking orders and packing for shipment, loading and unloading trailers and ensuring that dispatch timetables and quality standards are met to our high standards.
No previous experience is required and we will provide training, support and guidance. All we ask is that you are in a suitable physical condition to lift and move goods around the warehouse, and that you are a hard worker and will prove yourself as a reliable employee. Flexi and/or counterbalance forklift license is advantageous.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operatives are responsible for physically carrying out inventory transactions within the warehouse. Employees in this role work as part of the wider Warehouse team to ensure that these daily tasks are completed accurately and in an efficient and timely manner. They are required to be flexible and their duties may vary day-to-day, depending on the balance of work between goods-in, and goods-out.
Responsibilities include:
– Picking full or mixed pallets of inventory from specific locations, according to requirements.
– Checking orders and packing them ready for shipment.
– Loading trailers for dispatch.
– Unloading containers/trailers arriving into stock.
– Putting away inventory to designated locations.
– Performing inventory movements and replenishments.
– Performing stock counts.
– Conform to Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards; reporting non-conformances such as incorrect labelling, damage to inventory, accidents or near misses, environmental issues.
