Over the past few years, coloured refuse sacks become a firm favourite for local authorities. Many of these bags are used to supply to their residents, typically the colour matches the branding of the council or the bin in which the bag will fit in. They are also used for litter-picking sacks, these allow the bags to be easily identifiable against fly-tipped waste.
Since 1983 Cromwell has worked alongside local authorities to provide them with waste sack solutions for the capture and containment of rubbish and recycling. These are often supplied to residents or businesses to help increase waste management participation rates. One product that has proved to be a popular sack for the industry is our green CHSA 10kg refuse sack (GN090E0). This 90L bag is supplied on a roll for easy distribution and portion control.
The size of the green refuse sack is (457)x737x965mm and a minimum net box weight of 6.86kg. Each roll of green in colour refuse sacks has 25 pieces on it and there are 20 rolls in a carton, meaning 1 carton has 500 bags inside.
These bags are made from 40% recycled content. The bags are also recyclable after usage.
