Packaging Sector

Cromwell works with a variety of sectors across the market, one of which is the packaging industry. Whilst we have been suppliers within the packaging sector for almost 4 decades, we expanded our capabilities in 2020 with the acquisition of our polythene manufacturing and recycling facility. The newly purchased CPR Manufacturing allowed us to manufacture, source, and supply an extensive portfolio of general-purpose packaging products for merchants and the packaging industry. This portfolio includes general, food, and mailer packaging, made from polythene, compostable and food-grade material.

We can produce and supply packaging for a wide variety of usages, from food packaging to animal bedding and even pallet wraps or other films.

We can also make food-safe packaging made to BRC food safety standards, all of the food bags are manufactured from virgin food-grade polymers, with options ranging from base weld or side weld, captive flap, through to double seal for extra security, all aimed at keeping the food fresh and free from contamination. Our specialist packaging division also offers a comprehensive range of perforations and seals to meet the specifications of most industrial applications.

We are also in close association with the Foodservice Packaging Association (FPA) sharing industry insights and supporting events.
