We’ll Collect your redundant stock for recycling!

This year we are celebrating 40 years in business, and in these 4 decades within the industry, we have learned many things about the sectors we serve, including their buying habits. We have found that over time the bag requirements from our customers adapt and change, meaning they often request a different waste capture product or even require additional ones as their needs progress. Some often decide to upgrade their waste sacks to a larger quantity, or even a higher tolerance. Others require a whole new range of sacks as they make changes to their services. This can often lead to a surplus of old stock, which is now becoming redundant and filling up space in their storage.

So how do you handle redundant stock?

It would be a waste (pardon the pun), to get rid of perfectly good waste liners, but often overflowing storage and warehousing can leave the customers with little choice. With more companies also becoming very conscious of their sustainability efforts, disposal is often not an option they wish to take – so why not take up Cromwell’s solution and utilize our polythene recycling service?

You may have heard about our Polythene Recovery Service, where we collect used polythene from customers for recycling at our Derbyshire manufacturing facility. However, scrap or used polythene is not the only product we are happy to collect, your unwanted polythene bags, wraps and liners can also be collected for recycling. Our teams collect the plastic waste on a back-load basis, here we take it to our manufacturing facility – CPR, where it can be then recycled and remanufactured into brand-new products – some of which may get put back in your warehouse!

Our PRS Scheme is in full support of a circular economy, allowing for recycling and manufacturing in Britain, and saves virgin materials being used and goods being transported from overseas – overall reducing our carbon impact (and yours).

We’ll recycle for you!

Flexible plastics are often not the easiest to recycle currently, and whilst there are many reforms being put in place to fix this, why wait until they transpire, when Cromwell is on hand to help? Putting these waste sacks into the general waste would be a waste of resources, yet placing them in kerbside recycling could cause contamination. Cut out the confusion and allow us to recycle for you!

Speak to our team today and we can discuss a plan to collect your redundant stock, and even replace it with more suitable products whilst we are there! Then you can leave the rest to us, and rest assured that it will be effectively recycled within the UK, into new products, which will then be supplied to UK markets. We are on hand to help with all your polythene requirements, from manufacturing and supply to recovery and recycling – let’s have a chat!
