Proud Partners to Welsh Councils
For many consecutive years, Wales has been leading the way in recycling, boasting an impressive 59% rate in 2024 and reaching as high as 66% in previous years. Just last month, a BBC article highlighted that “Wales has been named the second-best country in the world for recycling and is within touching distance of the top spot, as new analysis shows.” This success comes as no surprise to us, as Wales’ recycling excellence has been recognised throughout the industry for decades. At Cromwell, we’re proud to be a part of this ongoing achievement as a dedicated waste sack supplier.
In addition to our core range of sacks and bags, we’ve supplied bespoke solutions to many authorities. These custom-printed sacks are an excellent strategy for promoting specific messages or recycling instructions and are increasingly popular among councils. The printed sacks help reduce contamination in collections by providing clear guidance on what can and cannot be disposed of in each waste stream. This clarity enables better end-of-life solutions for waste and contributes to Wales’ impressive recycling rates.
