It’s hard to believe the year is nearly over, but what a cracker it’s been for the Cromwell Polythene team. As we enter the festive season, we want to give our valued customers plenty of notice about our end-of-year operations.
The Importance Of Stocking Up:
Waiting too long could mean disruption at a time when reliability matters most. So, get ahead by conducting a thorough stock audit. Review your current usage, assess upcoming needs, and speak with our team to finalise your order well in advance. This proactive approach ensures a seamless start to the new year, keeping operations simple, excellent and resourceful.
Key Deliver / Order Dates:
16th of December:
Last day of despatch for delivery before Christmas on our economy service.
22nd of December:
Last day of despatch for delivery before Christmas on a premium (receiving depots must be open all day on Tuesday 23rd)
Last despatch date of the 23rd (for delivery in the new year) with no collections/deliveries on the 24th December.
Deliveries between Christmas & New Year:
While there will be no dispatches between 23rd December and 1st January, deliveries may still be made by our haulage partner during this period. However, please be advised that office support for these deliveries will be very limited. If this is critical to your operations, we recommend contacting our team at the earliest opportunity to ensure we can coordinate these deliveries accordingly.
Orders placed after the cut-off will be processed and dispatched upon our return.
We strongly encourage customers to review their requirements and place orders early to ensure you have sufficient stock over the Christmas and New Year period. This is especially important for local authorities, waste management services, and public sector contracts. If you’re unsure what you’ll need, our customer service team is happy to help with demand forecasting and tailored advice.
Festive Office Full Opening Hours:
Our customer support team will continue to work hard until the festive break. Please note the following closure dates:
- Wednesday 24 December: Open until midday
- Thursday 25 December to Thursday 1 January: Office closed
- Friday 2 January: Business resumes as usual
