For the third year running, we’re proud to be exhibiting at the LARAC Conference in Birmingham, an event that plays a vital role in strengthening our relationships with numerous local authorities. But the excitement doesn’t stop there! After LARAC, our team will be heading down to London’s ExCeL for two brand-new shows that Cromwell is attending for the very first time.
Glovelee Shows
The Restaurant and Takeaway Innovation Expo, hailed as ‘the ultimate foodservice trade show, covering every aspect of the restaurant and takeaway industry,’ is taking place at London’s ExCeL on October 15th and 16th, and we’re thrilled to be making our debut at the 2024 event.
With years of experience in the foodservice sector, we’ve been at the forefront of providing waste capture solutions for the significant levels of waste produced in the industry, including the hospitality sector. Our compostable liners, a popular choice in food preparation and handling, offer a resource-efficient solution for managing food waste.
Earlier this year, we expanded our compostable product range to include gloves made from compostable material, which have taken the foodservice industry by storm. Our innovative ‘Glovelee’ gloves, a sustainable alternative to traditional disposable gloves, won the FPA’s 2024 Product Innovation – Back of House Award, just months after their launch. Since then, they’ve been a hit at shows across the country, including the Manchester Cleaning Show.
We can’t wait to showcase both Glovelee and our compostable liners, perfect for lining a variety of food caddies and bins, at The Restaurant and Takeaway Innovation Expo. Find us at stand P79!
In addition to showcasing at The Restaurant and Takeaway Innovation Expo, we’re equally excited to be exhibiting at its sister event, The Garden Centre Expo. Also held at London’s ExCeL on the same dates, this event takes place in the adjacent hall and is a must-attend for anyone in the UK garden centre industry. The Garden Centre Expo is an immersive event focused on business growth through innovative products, technology, sustainability, and developments in the garden centre market.
At Cromwell, we offer a range of waste liners designed to handle various types of garden waste, including our heavy-duty rubble sacks, which are perfect for capturing more challenging, weighted waste. However, the real star of our stand (H12) at The Garden Centre Expo will be our Glovelee Compostable Gloves. These gloves can be composted alongside garden and other organic waste, making them an excellent resource-efficient solution for gardening activities too.
Compostable materials are becoming just as popular in gardening and agricultural settings as they are in food service and hospitality, and we’re excited to offer samples at stand H12. We also welcome any discussions about our waste sacks and protective sheeting solutions.
We’re excited to introduce our brand-new piping bags, perfect for the food service and catering sectors, which will be proudly showcased at stand P76 during The Restaurant and Takeaway Innovation Expo.
These polythene piping bags are made from recycled materials and feature a blue tint, ensuring clear visibility for use in the food industry. Fully accredited as 100% food-safe, they also come with a recyclable cardboard core for easier dispensing, adding an eco-friendly touch to their design.
