June was a busy and rewarding month for the Cromwell team, providing opportunities to connect with valued partners, industry associations and members across several sectors. Our memberships and involvement in industry associations are far more than networking opportunities. They allow us to stay connected to the evolving needs of our customers, contribute to important industry conversations and build relationships that help drive innovation and best practices. Through these partnerships, we gain valuable insight into sector challenges, emerging trends and legislative developments, enabling us to better support our customers with informed solutions and expert guidance.
Most importantly, these associations create opportunities for Cromwell to collaborate with like-minded organisations, strengthen long-standing relationships and ensure Cromwell Polythene remains an active and trusted contributor within the industries we serve.
Focusing on Healthcare at the IWSA Conference
The healthcare sector was a focus at the IWSA Conference, a new event for Cromwell and an excellent opportunity to engage with healthcare professionals and waste management specialists. Henry and Edward attended the conference as representatives of Cromwell and proud members of the Infection Prevention Society Waste Management Alliance (IWSA).
As members of the IWSA, we value the opportunity to connect with organisations working at the forefront of healthcare waste management and infection prevention. The conference provided a platform to highlight the importance of product consolidation to improve efficiency, to maximise budget and operational resources.
Celebrating Industry Partnerships at the FPA Golf Day and CHSA Gala Ball
Two annual membership events that remain important fixtures in the Cromwell calendar are the FPA Golf & Activities Day and the CHSA Gala Ball. The FPA Golf Day saw a fiercely contested competition between four members of our sales team, while the CHSA Gala Ball brought together 12 members of staff from across the business to celebrate industry success and recognise the achievements of organisations throughout the sector. At the CHSA Gala Ball, we were also delighted to be presented with two awards, Manufacturer of the Year and Outstanding Contribution by Paul Fleetwood. These achievements are a testament to the dedication, hard work and commitment of our entire team, and we are incredibly proud to see both Cromwell and Paul recognised in this way.
Building Relationships at the Jangro Round Robin Event
June also provided an opportunity to attend the annual Jangro Round Robin event, an important gathering that brings together Jangro members and approved suppliers from across the network.
As a proud product supplier to Jangro members, Cromwell values the opportunity to engage directly with distributors, strengthen existing relationships and better understand the challenges and opportunities facing the cleaning and hygiene sector.
The event offered a fantastic platform for Russell Stabler and Tom Canner to have meaningful conversations with members, allowing us to showcase our product offering, discuss market developments and explore ways to continue supporting the network.
