We’ve had a brilliant 2019 so far, and still have a busy and exciting few months ahead. With so much going on, we thought we would share some of our latest news and updates with you.
Great British Beach Clean
For the 3rd consecutive year, we will be taking part in the Marine Conservation Society’s Great British Beach Clean.
The scheme is set out to help keep the shores of Great Britain clean and free from litter and waste. Volunteers, such as Cromwell, take part in the litter picks at various locations up and down the coast.
Our team will be taking to the sands of Primrose Valley near Filey on 14th September to clean up the shores of this part of the East coast. We are hoping it will be an easy task and there will be limited amounts of litter – but we are ready for the challenge!
Get involved with your own beach clean and help keep our beaches sandy, not littered!
All New For Cromwell
Always one to be at the forefront of innovation and ready to tackle new challenges, we are excited to be nearing the completion of our newly built home!
The new premises for Cromwell Polythene are currently being constructed on the new Sherburn2 industrial park. This nearly finished property will be a much larger, more modernised facility to cater for our growing team and business. Cromwell are the first tenants on the new estate, and are looking forward to moving into our new offices in late September.
Whilst on the subject of new updates, we are also pleased to welcome 3 new members of staff to the Cromwell Polythene team! Introducing Katie Gaitley, our newest Account Manager, Josh Robinson our Customer Service Advisor and Rosie Crossley. our new Marketing Assistant.
A big hello and welcome to the family to these 3!
Back at RWM
For over a decade we have attended and exhibited at the industry leading RWM exhibition, we are pleased to announce that 2019 will be no different. This year RWM is being held on 11th – 12th September at the NEC, Birmingham.
We will be showcasing sustainable ways to collect separate materials for recycling at our street scene themed stand O14. On the stand’s kerbside, Cromwell will reveal exclusive new additions to its broad portfolio of products for the capture and containment of resources for recycling, ensuring the right product is available, in the right place, for the right recycling application.
We hope to see you there!
We are pleased to announce that we are now proud members of plastic recycling experts, RECOUP. RECOUP is an organisation which aims to promote, develop, stimulate and increase the levels of plastics recycling within the UK – it is great to join in the cause.
RECOUP is just one of the many membership and affiliations we are proud to hold. See a full list on our website.
