Feeling Festive – Cromwell Christmas Jumper Day 2021

With less than 2 weeks until Christmas, the team at Cromwell was feeling festive on Friday, as we took part in the fundraiser ‘Christmas Jumper Day’. We have joined the cause for several years now, where our staff dig-out their festive jumpers, hats, t-shirts, and ties, all in aid of charity.

The charity we chose to support was ‘Crisis at Christmas’, a charity that supports homeless people throughout the UK, providing them with a hot meal, shelter, support and companionship at Christmas. We have supported Crisis for a number of years, and the charity has become one that is close to our hearts, because of this lots of our staff take part in the festive fun. Many who do not have a festive outfit, still donate to the worthy cause.

Over Christmas, Crisis provides immediate help for people experiencing homelessness at a critical time. With the help of generous supporters and volunteers, they open centres across the UK over the festive week. Charitable money donations help to support the amazing work that Crisis do, not just at Christmas but annually.

The donations from our team, from both Cromwell Polythene and CPR Manufacturing, went directly to Crisis. The Christmas attire also brought some festive fun into our offices. By asking staff taking part to donate £2 toward the charity, we managed to raise a brilliant £60 in total.
