Resource recovery
In addition to the nation-wide collection service that we provide to companies that generate large volumes of waste, our resource recovery arm is able to collect smaller loads – typically up to two tonnes, though our minimum load is as low as 100 kgs - from SMEs within a 75 mile radius of our Leeds recycling centre, here the material is sorted and graded for re-processing.
Typically, we collect transit packaging, including polythene, hard plastics and board, thereby removing some of the bulkier materials from the waste stream.
